Screensaver World is a community driven platform for artists to publish and sell their art using the technology of the blockchain, cryptocurrency and NFTs.

The platform currently works in the blockchain and technology known as Polygon, this is a very inexpensive and clean blockchain in terms of enviromental impact, this is very important as the main blockchain used for NFTs is Ethereum which is causing a big negative enviromental impact as carbondrop.art states:

The minting of NFTs (...) is done using the Ethereum network, whose single transactions may require up to 50 kWh of electricity (an amount that a large house consumes over 2 days). While it is a challenge to calculate the exact carbon footprint of a single Eth transaction, the impact is still relevant. A migration into a Proof-of-Stake protocol by Ethereum would significantly reduce the network's carbon footprint.
